Peter and Kathy Fluetsch started Sunset Air in their garage in Tumwater back in 1976. Since those humble beginnings, the business has grown and evolved into an industry leader in Washington State. Sunset Air has extensive expertise in residential and commercial HVAC, design build engineering, plumbing systems, electrical services,and many other specialties. Since 1976, Sunset Air has been a staple in our South Puget Sound community. We are proud to say that the Fluetsch Family has continued our family business tradition for nearly 50 years and are now a proud third generation family-owned business.

As a union company, we take pride in our highly skilled and trained employees who are dedicated to delivering the best service. Unlike many other local companies, our technicians are never paid on commission, ensuring that their focus is always on what truly is best for our customers, without any incentive to push unnecessary repairs or products. Always having our customers’ best interest at heart is how we have remained successfully in business for nearly 50 years.
